Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the US [1]. It is frequently
complicated by venous thromboembolism (VTE), with published incidence rates varying
from 17% to 57%[2]. VTE can directly contribute to mortality, and has been associated with
poor outcomes in pancreatic cancer [3]. Tissue factor (TF) is the principal physiologic initiator
